Our Projects at Eyesea Plus

Eyesea Plus features a range of groundbreaking projects made possible by Eyesea members’ support and partnership. Our projects include:

1. Technology Development
Our goal is to harness cutting-edge technology to improve marine conservation and data collection. Ongoing tech projects include:

Eyesea App: The Eyesea app is an intuitive mobile platform empowering users to report recovered and unrecovered pollution at sea and onshore. The Eyesea app has been funded and built in partnership with MariApps and BSM.
Eyesea Analytics and Dashboard: Providing insights and analytics for informed decision-making in ocean monitoring. The Eyesea app has been funded and built in partnership with MariApps and BSM.
Eyesea Spectrometry: Eyesea is embedding Grundo’s satellite image spectrometry into its analytics dashboard. This will support the identification of plastics and hydrocarbons on the water and along coastlines using satellite imagery. This is particularly relevant for isolated area analysis.
Eyesea Communications (Pushologies): Streamlining real-time communications for Eyesea members and users.

2. Eyesea Galapagos Islands and Rapa Nui Partnerships (Unisea)
Through the support of Unisea, Eyesea has been able to enter partnerships with Frente Insular(Galapagos Islands) and the Rapa Nui Municipal Authority. This partnership supports pollution data collection, promotes awareness, and will look to drive pollution-related conservation efforts in these unique localities.

3. Eyesea India
Eyesea has greatly expanded our support for volunteers led beach clean-up and recycling efforts. Our local representative has recovered over 50,000kgs of pollution with the support of approximately 5,000 volunteers over the last year. India project supporters have funded the expanded operation and have supplied capital equipment and machinery, a truck, and volunteer supplies. This project is supported by the Isle of Man Ship Registry, MPC Group, NSB, ChartWorld, and Verfavia.
