GOT BAG
GOT BAG is a start-up company from Mainz, Germany, producing backpacks made of ocean impact plastic. In order to access the raw materials for the production, the company established a waste collection scheme on the north shore of Java, Indonesia, in 2019. After humble beginnings in the village of Gojoyo, it now provides waste management solutions for household waste, river plastic, and marine debris, collected by approximately 2500 people in eight different local communities.
GOT BAG is constantly looking to improve the impact of its waste management project by adding new regions or technologies to its portfolio, making Eyesea a valuable partner for the future. Additionally, GOT BAG aims to push the boundaries environmentally friendly and socially just production, ensuring the travel accessories sold are both trade fair and low impact.
