Growing up on the Gold Coast in Australia, some could argue the ocean is part of my DNA. As an avid surfer and life saver growing up in Surfers Paradise where tourism is one of the largest industries, the health of our waterways and oceans has always been an area I’ve been proactive in trying to protect. There’s nothing worse than walking across the sand to into the water, only to see an empty can of soft drink half-nestled resting on the sand while duck-diving a wave. Being able to play an integral role with Eyesea gives a sense of hope for our oceans knowing we’re it’s the change in the world we so desperately need.
